A slow Saturday in Sharrow Vale: Endcliffe Park, coffee and a treatment

Written by India Hudson, founder & therapist

We might be biased, but we think Sharrow Vale is one of the loveliest corners of Sheffield. Tucked just behind Ecclesall Road, it's a little street full of independent shops, cafés and friendly faces. Here's our idea of a perfect, slow Saturday.

Morning: a stroll through Endcliffe Park

Start with a wander through Endcliffe Park – along the Porter Brook, past the playground and the café, and up into the woods if you're feeling energetic. It's one of Sheffield's best-loved green spaces and the perfect way to clear your head.

02

Late morning: coffee on the Vale

Wander up to Sharrow Vale Road for a coffee and something delicious from one of the independent cafés. Add 1–2 favourites. Take your time – there's no rush today.

03

Midday: a little browse

The street is full of independent shops to poke around in. Pop into our shop for soft loungewear, kimonos and homeware – it's the kind of place where you find a gift for someone else and something for yourself.

Afternoon: a treatment

Then it's time for you. A full body massage, a facial or a luxury pedicure – or go all out with a pamper package. We're open 10am–4pm on Saturdays; book ahead, as weekends fill up quickly.
