We use hot wax for intimate and sensitive areas. It's applied warm, hardens as it cools and grips the hair rather than the skin – so it's gentler, especially on delicate areas, and great at removing short or coarse hairs.

Strip wax is quick and effective and suits most people. Brazilian and Hollywood waxing are always done with hot wax.
Getting the best from your wax
- Hair length: about one centimetre is perfect – trim if it's longer, and let it grow if it's very short.
- Before: exfoliate gently a day or two beforehand, and skip moisturiser on the day.
- After: avoid hot baths, saunas, the gym, sunbeds and perfumed products for 24 hours, and wear loose clothing.
- Keep it up: waxing every four to six weeks usually means finer, sparser regrowth over time.

How long should my hair be for waxing?

About one centimetre (roughly two to three weeks' growth after shaving) – long enough for the wax to grip, short enough to be comfortable.
Does waxing hurt?

There's a quick sting as the wax comes off, but it fades quickly – and it usually gets easier with regular waxing. Our hot wax is especially comfortable on sensitive areas.
How long does waxing last?

Usually three to six weeks, depending on the area and how quickly your hair grows.
Can I wax if I'm using retinoids or have sunburn?

Please let us know – waxing isn't suitable on sunburnt or broken skin, or on areas where you use retinoids or some prescription skincare.
Can I be waxed during my period?

Yes – just use a tampon or menstrual cup for intimate waxing. Skin can be a little more sensitive at that time of the month.
