What we collect
- Booking details – your name, email, phone number and appointment history, collected through our booking system Timely.
- Consultation information – details you share so we can carry out treatments safely, such as allergies, skin conditions, pregnancy or medication. This is health information, so we treat it with extra care.
- Gift voucher details – purchaser and recipient names and email addresses.
- Website data – basic analytics and cookies list tools, e.g. Google Analytics about how visitors use our site.
- Messages – anything you send through our contact form, by email or on social media.
How we use it
To manage your bookings and send reminders; to carry out your treatments safely; to process payments and vouchers; to answer your questions; to improve our website; and, only if you've agreed, to send you news and offers.
Our lawful bases
Contract (to provide the treatments you book); legitimate interests (running and improving our business); legal obligation (e.g. tax records); explicit consent for health information shared at consultation; and consent for marketing.
Who we share it with
Only with the service providers that help us run the business – such as our booking system, payment providers, website host and email provider – under suitable agreements. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Booking and consultation records for x years after your last visit; financial records for six years, as required by law; marketing data until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict how we use it, ask for a copy to move elsewhere, and withdraw consent at any time. Email us at hudsonandwood@yahoo.co.uk.
