How brow lamination in Sheffield works

A gentle lifting solution softens the structure of your brow hairs so they can be brushed upwards and set in a new direction. Once they're set, your brows stay in that shape – fuller-looking, even and beautifully groomed – for weeks. Gaps look filled, unruly hairs behave themselves, and your brows frame your face without a scrap of make-up.

It's especially lovely if your brows are thick, curly or grow in different directions, or if they're sparse in places and you'd like them to look fuller. We keep the finish natural and soft – brushed up and fluffy rather than stiff or 'stuck down'.

What happens during your treatment

  1. Patch test. At least 48 hours before, if you're new to tints, lifts or lamination with us.
  2. Consultation. We'll look at your brows together and agree how lifted you'd like them – soft and natural or more dramatic.
  3. Lift. The lifting solution is applied and your brow hairs are brushed into their new shape.
  4. Set. A setting solution fixes them in place.
  5. Finish. An optional tint for extra definition, a tidy of any strays, and a nourishing treatment to keep your brow hairs healthy.

Is it right for you?

Brow lamination suits most brows – especially unruly, curly, thick or patchy ones. It isn't suitable on broken, sunburnt or irritated skin, if you use retinoids or prescription skincare on the area, or if you've had a reaction to a lash lift or tint before. If you'd simply like a neat shape, our eyebrow shaping might be all you need; for colour, try an eyebrow tint.

Before and after your visit

Book your patch test first, and try not to tweeze for a couple of weeks so we have plenty of hair to work with. For 24 hours afterwards, keep your brows dry – no steam, swimming, saunas, sweaty workouts or make-up on them. After that, brush them into place each morning and use a nourishing brow oil or serum a few times a week.

Good to know

Your questions, answered

How long does brow lamination last?

+

Usually around six to eight weeks, depending on your hair growth and how you look after your brows.

Does brow lamination damage your brows?

+

Done properly and not too often, it's gentle. We finish with a nourishing treatment and recommend leaving at least six weeks between laminations.

Do I need a patch test?

+

Yes, if you haven't had a tint, lash lift or lamination with us before. Please call 0114 266 4237 to arrange it at least 48 hours ahead.

Can I have a tint at the same time?

+

Yes – most clients do, as it adds definition and makes every hair show.

Will my brows look fake?

+

Not at all. We'll agree the look you want, and we keep it soft and natural unless you'd like something bolder.
