Lash Lifts in Sheffield

Our lash lifts in Sheffield are essentially a perm for your lashes – creating a natural curl and lift for eye-popping results, without extensions or daily curling. It's one of the easiest ways to look fresh and wide-awake every morning, and it's done with care at our independent salon on Sharrow Vale Road, S11.

How our lash lifts in Sheffield work

A lash lift curls your own natural lashes upwards from the root, so they look longer, lifted and more open – as though you've just used your lash curler, but it lasts for weeks. Because nothing is added, there's no glue, no heavy extensions and no in-fills. Just your lashes, at their very best.

It's perfect if your lashes are straight or point downwards, if you're forever reaching for the curlers, or if you'd simply like to wake up looking a little more polished. Add a tint and you may never need mascara again – see our lash lift and tint.

What happens during your lash lift

  1. Patch test. At least 48 hours before (if you're new to us), a quick test to make sure the solution suits you.
  2. Prepare. We cleanse your lashes and protect your lower lashes so you can relax with your eyes closed.
  3. Shape. Your lashes are gently placed onto a small silicone shield, chosen for the curl that suits your eyes.
  4. Lift and set. The lifting lotion and then the setting lotion are applied and left to work – this is your time for a little rest.
  5. Nourish. We finish with a conditioning treatment to keep your lashes healthy and glossy.
03

Is it right for you?

A lash lift suits almost anyone with natural lashes of a reasonable length. Very short lashes may not curl as dramatically. It isn't suitable if you have an eye infection, very sensitive eyes or have had recent eye surgery, and we'd suggest waiting if you're pregnant. If you'd simply like darker lashes, a lash tint is quick and easy.

Before and after your visit

Arrange your patch test first. Come with clean lashes – no mascara – and bring your glasses if you wear contact lenses. For 24 hours afterwards, keep your lashes dry: no steam, swimming, saunas or mascara. After that, a little lash serum or oil keeps them in lovely condition.

Good to know

Your questions, answered

How long does a lash lift last?

+

Around 6–8 weeks, as your lashes naturally shed and regrow.

Does a lash lift damage your lashes?

+

When done properly and not too often, a lash lift is gentle on your lashes. We finish with a nourishing treatment, and we recommend leaving at least six weeks between lifts.

Is a lash lift better than extensions?

+

It's lower-maintenance – no glue, no in-fills and no damage from extensions falling out. You keep your own natural lashes, just lifted.

Do I need a patch test?

+

Yes, if you haven't had a lash lift or tint with us before. Please call 0114 266 4237 to arrange it at least 48 hours ahead.

Can I wear mascara afterwards?

+

After 24 hours, yes – though many clients find they don't need it, especially with a tint.

Is it the same as an LVL lash lift?

+

LVL is one brand of lash lift. Ours gives a similar natural lift and curl.

Can I book a lash lift without a tint?

+

Yes – a lash lift is available on its own. A tint is optional; choose our lash lift and tint if you would like darker lashes too.
