What to expect from Hollywood waxing in Sheffield
A Hollywood wax removes all the hair from the bikini area – front, underneath and between the cheeks – for a completely smooth finish. It's the most thorough intimate wax, and it's popular for holidays, special occasions and anyone who simply prefers to be hair-free.
Because we use hot wax, it's gentler on delicate skin than traditional strip wax. The wax grips the hair, not the skin, so there's less pulling and less redness afterwards.
What happens during your Hollywood wax
- A quick chat to check you're happy and ask about any skin sensitivity.
- Privacy to undress from the waist down, with cover provided.
- Cleanse and trim any longer hairs.
- Hot wax applied and removed in small sections. Your therapist will guide you through any position changes – quickly and matter-of-factly.
- Tidy and soothe with tweezers and a calming lotion.
Is it right for you?

Before and after your visit
Trim to approximately one centimetre and exfoliate gently a day or two before. For 24 hours afterwards, avoid hot baths, saunas, swimming, the gym, sex, tight clothing and perfumed products. Exfoliate gently from day two or three to help prevent ingrown hairs.
